Carla Swander Co-owner ERGOMETRICS
Carla Swander is a test and training design expert nationally known for her outstanding work in the development of video-based testing and training tools. Ms. Swander has helped ERGOMETRICS build an impressive line of video-based screening tools including tests for law enforcement, transit, corrections, public and private customer service occupations including tellers, and emergency communication employees. In addition to her work in video design, Ms. Swander has produced tests in many other formats for a wide variety of occupational areas. Ms. Swander has also researched and designed major human relations training programs used to train thousands of workers in customer and internal relations.

Oscar Spurlin, Ph. D. Co-owner ERGOMETRICS
Dr. Oscar Spurlin received his Ph.D. in the field of Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tennessee in 1977. Dr. Spurlin is an expert in the field of measurement and job analysis,
focusing primarily on the development and validation of new approaches to employee selection. His most well known and innovative work has been in the use of multimedia, including video-based programs and computerized tests. He has designed and conducted sophisticated validation studies in a wide variety of occupational settings. He is also well known for his contributions to pre-employment physical ability testing, pioneering the application of concepts such as reserve capacity and sub-maximal testing.

Carl Swander, Ph. D.
ERGOMETRICS
Dr. Swander is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist and co-owner of Ergometrics and Applied Personnel Research, Inc. Dr. Swander received his doctorate in industrial/organizational psychology at Virginia Tech, specializing in selection and measurement. His dissertation demonstrated the utility of video-based situational judgment tests and identified key components of video effectiveness. His original work focused on video testing for police and factors associated with officer judgment errors. Dr. Swander has presented his work at national conferences, including SIOP, IPMAAC and APCO. Dr. Swander has conducted extensive original research on video based situational judgment tests and has used complex statistical procedures to understand real world problems. He has worked on a wide variety of design projects including video tests, physical abilities tests, supervisory exams, reading tests and training programs. Dr. Swander has also worked extensively on validation and organizational survey research.

Karen Strom Vice President of Client Relations
Karen Strom has worked for ERGOMETRICS for 14 years. She has managed and assisted with all previous test development projects. She is a highly valuable point contact who can troubleshoot and follow through on most problems that arise. She has 15 years experience in employee selection and bachelor's degrees in English, History and Medical Technology.

Chantelle Frosig Operations Manager
Chantelle Frosig has been with ERGOMETRICS for 9 years. She has provided executive assistance with previous test development projects, assisted in data analysis and validation efforts on all previous test developments. She has seven years experience in test development and validation with ERGOMETRICS. In college she majored in English.

Cliff Potter Video Production Coordinator
Cliff Potter is Video Production Coordinator and Senior Editor on all ERGOMETRICS projects. He has 12 years experience in video production with national broadcast credits. He has expertise and experience in all phases of location shooting, set design and construction and many types of special effects including very large scale green screen shooting and compositing. He has a degree in Visual Communications and has worked with ERGOMETRICS on almost all previous video productions.

Shawn Terjeson Media Services
Shawn Terjeson has 14 years experience in media as a producer, writer, director, animator, graphic artist and web designer. He has created numerous complex programs for ERGOMETRICS including animated interactive tests and driving simulations involving 360 degree moving images with animated interfaces. He is the designer of ERGOMETRICS' web page. He has national broadcast and feature film credits and has worked with ERGOMETRICS on all previous video productions.

Malana Love Administrative Assistant
Malana Love is Administrative Assistant for ERGOMETRICS. She has assisted with pre and post production of the ERGOMETRICS' START System and performed admirably as a stunt and camera truck driver during the shoot. She is a trained communication and facilitation specialist.

Tom Williams Associates Production Service Director of Photography
Tom Williams is a very talented and well known Camera Operator, Steadicam Operator and Remote Head Camera Arm Operator. He has 20 years of experience and has been Director of Photography on all ERGOMETRICS's video productions. He has numerous national broadcast and feature film credits.
